For openSUSE (Leap/TW) packages I have done some adjustments.
I don't know if they all make sense, but I list some of them here and maybe there is something useful.
If requested I give more information about the items and try to create PR's.
install daemon under /usr/sbin/ (or /usr/local/sbin/)
install eBPF module under /usr/lib/opensnitch/
install opensnitch-ui under /usr/lib/opensnitch/
install opensnitch-ui wrapper under /usr/bin/
install opensnitch_ui.desktop also in /etc/xdg/autostart/
create log file non-world-readable (0640)
change colors of icons (especially the white ones have a bad contrast in KDE Plasma5)
