Colemak DH + other layers

How do I use Karabiner to remap keys from Qwerty to Colemak DH, and have all my other layers work?

The thing is I'm using withModifiers: optionalAny while remapping keys to Colemak DH but this makes all the other layers that depend on alphabet keys stop working. Is there a way to get around this?

I know i can use MacOS to change from Qwerty to Colemak DH but i found out the hard way that applications can ignore my keyboard layout that comes from the operating system.

I've worked around it like so but please let me know if there's a better way to do this:

When I add left control to that list, it works out the same way so it doesn't really help. @evan-liu if you're free sometime, I would love some tips here.

After some digging, I found out that the order of the rules matters pqrs-org/Karabiner-Elements#3657

So moving all my layers up to the top was the solution after all. I think I should take inspiration from Evan's configuration and make everything its own funciton.
