• I have read the documentation ESP-IDF Programming Guide and the issue is not addressed there.
• I have updated my IDF branch (master or release) to the latest version and checked that the issue is present there.
• I have searched the issue tracker for a similar issue and not found a similar issue.

General issue report

There is no dependency lock files in any of the examples for the p4 devkit. If you try to build one of the examples on a fresh environment, the build is already broken because one of the 0.x dependencies had a breaking change.
So it would be helpful to follow the guidance from the espressif docs and check in the dependency lock files.
