Seen in appveyor builds https://ci.appveyor.com/project/EnthoughtOSS/traitsui/build/1.0.142
The tests pass when using pyqt5-5.9.2

See dcervenkov/markdown-diary#3 and travis-ci/travis-ci#9202 as possibly related: TravisCI problems, but also fixed by downgrading to 5.9; I think I was seeing the segmentation fault in coverage in some of the pyface tests this morning.

Changed title since we've merged the change to use pyqt5-5.9.2.
