This module has a dependency and is generating warnings in the the other modules (emailjs, gun etc) that include it.

emailjs-mime-codec > [email protected]: no longer maintained

This is not a problem in so far as 0.7.0 is the last release that offers the full fledged implementation for the de-/encoder. The W3C standard was static for quite some time (at least in the relevant sections here). The native implementations of TextEncoder and TextDecoder, especially in the browser, don't offer all the decoding abilities the we need for all the funky encodings that are out in the wild.

I am not aware of a drop-in replacement, but if you find one, please let me know.
