Hi there,

I'm getting an "Internal Server Error" on some of the content that is loaded on https://lens.elifesciences.org/

The home page of the eLife Lens site has been empty for a while now, due to the article indexer service was disabled. The project that ran the Lens home page is https://github.com/elifesciences/lens-indexer, which I understand is still functional, we just do not have a running indexer at this time.

To reach the eLife Lens pages, I would suggest to visit http://elifesciences.org and click on an article, or visit a DOI directly. Then from the left side navigation, click the "Side by side" link. It will open the Lens page in an iframe.

Hi Graham - thanks very much for the response. I am looking to use the Lens view for the startup project that I am working on. Are there (best case) active maintainers for the project, or (worst case) still people available who know the codebase who I can contact if I have any questions?

I dare to say I am an active maintainer. My activity is mostly on bug fixes, small improvements we need, and trying to answer issues raised such as you raised here. Michael and Oliver provided much of the code are still available to us to answer the tough questions. I wouldn't want to speak for all the other people who follow and contribute to the project, who are always welcome to answer issues too.

That's great, thank you! I will post a quick issue now.
