In olfactory go nogo task (configuration file task 3005 - Experiment: MatchPort), I use the staircase (window=10) and two difficultiies (0 and 1). From table Exp.Trial() I noticed that in some keys the difficulties change in trials that normally should not. For example, in key (animal=106,session=113) the difficulty shifts from 0 to 1 after the 10th trial (here, in trial 21, although in trials1-20 the animal received reward, so the difficulty had to change after trial 10 ) and in other keys (i.e. animal=106,session=112) the difficulty shifts before the 10th trial (here in trial 8, before reach trial 10 [window] and calculate the stair up performance). Both cases don't seem reasonable. This problem occurs in other sessions, as well, although in some sessions the difficulty changes in apropriate time (according to the staircase window).
