@melibleq has been wondering about fixing this. @hmenager could you please provide the guidance|help if needed?

@hmenager @melibleq I'm not sure whether this is urgent. Is it? There are enormously many hits of master in this repo, but many are in documentation (so should be update but not urgent), some look like in the code but commented out, and some are links to the .ipynb files (do these links affect functionality or are they also just documentation?), ... Any other cases? Pls check it out at some point (e.g. next week) @hmenager, 1000000 thanks! 🙏🏽

I don't mind doing long, repetitive tasks lol but there's probably a way to automate at least part of this task.
