I added all necessary permissions on my Google Drive and the app is showing as permitted. But when I click to edit a txt document or I try to open the notepad directly it keeps showing the error: "Error. See developer console for details." The error console shows: "Strangely structured error: error_subtype: access_denied".

I tried to relaunch the browser (chrome) and added the notepad chrome extension but none seems to work properly. Any tip is welcome.

Same here - does not look like this app is being updated :-(

Same problem and code seems to be abandoned (last edit 3 years ago).

There seems to have been activity 5 months ago as well but this app no longer works for me. Fails on authorization.

@JasonALorance is there any way for us to use your fork - it sounds like you fixed this but I don't know how to use your fork?

Anyone still hoping to fix this? It was a pretty useful app - would hate to see the work go to waste

I gave up waiting and switch to "Text Editor for Google Drive".
It is not as good as drivenotepad was but better than it turned out to be
