@drewhamlett - I've ported this to NetBeans 8, updated to JRE 1.8 and Nashorn. How would you like to proceed with this project?

I can continue to maintain in my repo, I'd re-do the namespacing and licensing but leave attribution in the source, readme, etc for your awesome original work.
I can submit a PR here but that leaves you to maintain code that I think you wanted to just offer and leave about 5 years ago.
Other options?

Thanks. for the initial effort, I learned a lot in this update and will blog the experience with a link back here.
