Well... We can try shooting random combinations of words or try making up new random but cool sounding names, just idk if it's that good idea.

It would probably be better to first think of elements you would like this project to represent and then think of a name deriving from those ideas.

However, I can drop few random name ideas that means nothing (at least as far as I know), so you can give them purpose, starting with this project: amari, amata, amatrias, hidori, raley, dragneel, reignall, freyan, sirria, estarte, entag, quarti, etc. Inspired from Tolkien elfic name generator. As mentioned, they are related to no particular item, concept, person or place so they will sound random but on the other hand it may be a good thing.

Edit: I also generate names in similar way for my own silly project, for example last names I used (feel free to use them too if you want): Kirigan, Dragneelios, Drow, Caera, Irunse, Rilria

I usually mix random crap from elfic language (Tolkien as it's most complete one) and pieces of Norwegian mythology, sometimes you can craft something that sounds acceptable.

sova sounds cool

tbh. sounds like russian name for something or someone (not fan of russia), tho even if @dqrk0jeste were to pick it - it's already kinda taken by Valorant (fps game made by Riot Games), one of their main characters is named that.

Huh, something new to know. It also sounds just like a russian thing to me. Anyway, it is used by valorant and they have strong positioning so if it were to be picked - expect that by tying "sova" in search engines, you'll never find it. At best typing "linux sova" or "sova compositor" would reveal it at all.

Edit: I also typed it into github and got:

1.4k results but like, you have those TTS engine project(s) and rest are some micro repositories.

@emm-enn yeah, you are right, sova is owl in serbian. sounds good, i will keep it in my mind. choosing the name is so hard lol.

@amatsagu please, no nationalism of any kind here.
i cannot really invent a new word lol, idk that a valorant character is called that

Well, I neither said it's good or bad lol, just stated it sounds awfully close to russian words and due to war, etc. a lot of people have mixed feelings about things regarding russian (and they have clear reason for that) so by picking it, expect people may point that out or straight up disregard project in more extreme cases. For me personally it's whatever as long as decided upon name is easy to type/remember and is single word, with no extra symbols.
