Your DownThemAll! and Browser Version and Language and Operating System
DTA 3.0.6, Tor Browser 6.0.4 (based on Mozilla Firefox 45.3.0), Windows 8.1 (v6.3 build 9600), everything in English.
Expected Behavior
It would be great if I can unset some downloads as "private", because the fact that Tor is always on private mode becomes a problem for DTA users. I would like to close DTA and have it restore all my downloads when I open it again, even on private mode, if I wish to.
Possible solutions:
This could be done by having a context menu option such as "Set selected as public";
Or when closing DTA manager, instead of showing these options for the message "Abort private downloads and close?": Yes or No; it could show these: Abort and close, or Do not abort and close, or Cancel;
Or in "Preferences->Privacy", have the following checkbox: "Ignore built-in Clear Private Data feature", where the user would have the power to use DTA just like in the older versions if they wished.
Actual Behavior
Currently, the only way that I now to restore private downloads when you need to close DTA is by exporting them to a file, and then importing everything again when you run DTA next.
Steps To Reproduce
Use Tor Browser or normal Firefox in Private Mode;
Enqueue some downloads with DTA;
Close DTA and you will always lose your queue, even if you don't want to;
Open it again and you have indeed lost your queue.
Additional info such as log extracts
This is the only thing that is keeping me from using DTA right now, but it is still the best download manager add-on for Firefox as of right now, so it would be a bummer to have to not use Tor in private mode, because I would have to delete my history manually every time I close it.
It would be really great to have Tor on private mode (default), e.g. forgetting all of its browsing history and built-in download queue when I close the browser, but at the same time, keep the DTA queue intact.
Thanks.
