[Feature Request] would it be possible to create documentation on how to make our own themes?

Just asking about this because there are a lot of requests here and looking through the codebase doesn't quite tell me the full picture on how to make my own themes. The custom assets are fine, but I think letting us make our own themes and approving them yourself via pull requests could be a better potential solution. Would it be possible to write documentation that lets us contribute to this database by making our own themes?
