Very high latency on virtual output device

Hello, this library is a simple wrapper around the node-midi module which does all the actual MIDI device handling, so your issue may exist upstream. If the MIDI messages are being parsed correctly then this library is probably working and your issue may lie in node-midi instead.

That being said, are other MIDI devices working with low latency? Which platform are you on and what is your round trip audio latency in Ableton?

I actually changed my module and I'm using node-midi directly, It was a bit of trouble to compile but eventually I got it working and there is very low latency at the moment
