Is there any way to disable any of the formatting options? Could I allow only bold and italic text?

At the moment, no. This would be possible to implement. I might get around to that if I have some spare time, but that could take a while, feel free to submit a PR if you want to help out.

👌 It's what's keeping my from using the built in markdown editor as well, I need to limit the options
