I'm using Debian Sid and recently I have started to have system lockups and hangs when opening full screen applications. I've found the process xembedsniproxy to be consuming around 50-100% of my CPU and running sudo fatrace -f W | grep .xsession-errors showed it was quickly filling the log with "Container window visible, stack below". If I sigterm the xembedsniproxy my system is stable but I lose access to a few of my task bar icons. I have tried fixing it by trying all of the different compositors and also disabling the compositor.

I believe the issue is related to this bug.
