Custom fields not working

Hi Dallin, I have installed Mass Text on my Samsung 7 phone. There is no way of adding custom fields or adding new templates. On a youtube video, it says that you can add a custom field such as "first name" by clicking on the right hand side of the screen. However the only option that comes up is to add a new contact. How do I get this working? Are you able to contact me on [email protected]. Thanks
