run only 1 task on a cluster

wondering how the system ensures only 1 task runs on a cluster ?

Hey @gedw99, thanks for the question! I’m trying to better understand your question. Could you please share more details about your cluster setup? Are you referring to limiting execution so that only one server runs a DAG across multiple Dagu servers? Or is it something else? A bit more context would help clarify.

Yes it has a queue that is perfect for this .

it will ensure only 1 of each workflow is running

it will also update the gui with status of each running task .

the nats click can act as a Kirby to test everything too to learn how it works.

I am doing many projects with nats and can show you a lot more if you want .

https://github.com/choria-io/asyncjobs Is a nice nats Jetstream example that I think could work well with Dagu.

I have used this to do email sending and a few other things .

It would probably work well for sending the Dagu job in via this.

Been doing nats and cqrs for 15 years . It’s solves so many computing problems ..

and it’s easy to use.

I like Dagu. It going to fly on nats
