Hi,
we have multiple web-projects running, all with there own job files (>10).

Could you add a feature to store them in individual project directories instead of specifying the group in the *.yaml files. The directory name can be used as group name.

What do you think about this idea?

One potential solution to your request could be to extend the admin configuration by adding a section for projects. For example, you could create an admin.yaml file with the following:

projects:
  - name: projectA
    dir: /dags/ProjectA
  - name: projectB
    dir: /dags/ProjectB
  - name: projectB
    dir: /dags/ProjectB

Additionally, we need to update the Web UI to allow selection of those projects.
I think that it may be a bit challenging to implement in a timely manner if I work on it alone, due to my bandwidth. If anyone is interested in helping out with this feature, I'm sure it would be much appreciated.
