Even if this is a separate app initially, it would help people a LOT.

I've upgraded to egui 0.24 which has support for rendering to multiple windows. Hopefully I'll be able to use that to make a proper editor for layouts and splits.

I might be a little late to the party. But you could install livesplit with wine or use https://one.livesplit.org/ to create your layouts and splits. Maybe not the perfect solution, but it works :)
