Increasing chat message box padding and adding placeholder message

It'd be nice to increase the padding for the text box containing the text the user has typed.

Also, it'd be nice to have a placeholder message like "Message..." instead of a blank message box

How do you expect the text to have vertical padding since this is multiline? eventually you could have enough lines where you need to scroll in which case it would not make sense to have padding.

It should still look fine when scrolling even with padding, since you only need a very small amount of vertical padding to avoid the current cramped look of the text input
