Animated emotes do not move?

In my version at least, android 6.0.1, Xtra version 2.42.0,
If you click a chat message, click the emote, it animates
But other than that, in regular chat, it plays like a second or less of animation and then stays static
Maybe it's because of my older phone though, bc it seems it'd been noticed already,
But just in case, saying - Didn't find any issue opened on this

it happens on android 8 and below because the glide image library is used for webp images. there's another image library included but it requires android 9 for webp so it only works with gifs and it is very laggy on old devices. it does actually play the animations at least so it might be better to switch to using gifs on old devices
