My favorite streamer does not allow VODs to be able to watch later, which if I don't watch it live I will miss it, so I would like to propose several functions to this purpose:

01.- Being able to record live streams skipping ADS

02.- Leave a kind of schedule where Xtra is checking from time to time (which can be adjusted in the xtra settings) that the stream has started and that it starts recording it (I could propose that it check it every 5 minutes by default)

03.- Likewise, in xtra settings you could put one where you can indicate in what quality you want to record it and in which directory to record it (in case a high-capacity MicroSD is used so as not to harm the internal memory of the cell phone or the Android TV Box)

I think these functions are necessary for those streamers who do not like to leave VODs on Twitch and so that one does not miss the streams either because we are working or doing other activities

you can start a download from the channel page when the channel is offline and it will start recording once the channel goes live. currently it's pretty broken and i think it can get stuck recording when the channel goes offline for example.

Hi crackededed, thanks for answering and I noticed that I had a previous version of Xtra and I didn't see the download option and I checked it and I found some problems that you should already know are there but I'll put them here anyway in case there is one that you missed:

1.- When I want to record a streaming and in the window where it shows the download options such as the resolution and the directory to download it to, if I select a another directory, the Xtra Crash and it closes, could you review it?

2.- Put in the application settings the option to select the external directory where to make the recordings and leave it by default without having to choose it in each recording

3.- Put an indicator that it is being recorded in the information of the streaming that is being watched and put the option to stop the recording in it

4.- And yes, the only way to know that the streaming is being recorded is going to the "saved" and "downloads" section, there is the option to stop but when you want to stop it, it gets stuck and you don't know if it stopped or not.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience

Yes, no problem, but I need you to tell me where the log file is saved and I will send it to you.
