As a compromise to Xtra's inability to redeem rewards, add a button that opens the popout chat in the browser where rewards will be accessible.

https://www.twitch.tv/popout/<channel>/chat

Possible button locations:

beside the chat input field (right)
in the player menu
on the player itself
