I know the requested features are totally different than what waspline does, however I do think they would be nice to add and are easy to implement into waspline reader.
I tried the bionic reading plugin, but this one also changes the website into 'reading mode' which breaks all the layout. I just want the original layout but with the effect added to it similar as what waspline reader does to a website.
Would this be something you'd like to pursue?

Thanks for the idea, I've just checked bionic reading and it seems that apart from changing the website view into "reading mode" they also highlight the first letters of every word, are you requesting both of these futures or only the first one?
Hi corollary,
I was referring only to the highlighting of the letters. I've found this to indeed be helpful with reading and think it might be easy to implement.
The "reading mode" that they have implemented in my experience often breaks the layout of the text that I'm reading. For example, sometimes it joins 2 paragraphs into 1 long paragraph, which makes navigating a text difficult. Therefor, I'd rather have the original layout of a text but with the highlighted letters.
Hi,
I would like to request to add similar reading style as in the bionic reading extension https://bionic-reading.com/en/
