After starting training, nothing happens

I'm trying to train a VITS model using Coqui TTS, but after starting training, nothing happens. The process does not seem to run, and no logs are updating in TensorBoard.

System Details

OS: Ubuntu 22.04
Python Version: 3.10.16
Torch Version: 2.5.1
Coqui TTS Version: 0.22.0
GPU: Quadro T1000 (4GB VRAM)
RAM: 64GB
Using Virtual Environment?: Yes (coqui-venv)

Steps Taken

Checked Dataset:

python -c "from TTS.tts.datasets import load_tts_samples; print(load_tts_samples())"
It correctly found 112 files.
Adjusted eval_split_size to allow dataset splitting.

Started Training:

CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES=0 python train_vits.py --config_path config.json
The process outputs standard initialization logs but then stops.

Checked Running Processes:

ps aux | grep train_vits.py → No running process.
nvidia-smi → Low GPU usage (723MiB / 4096MiB), no active training process.

Checked Logs:

Log files exist (trainer_0_log.txt), but they only contain the initial setup output.
tail -n 50 trainer_0_log.txt shows no updates.

Checked TensorBoard:

Ran tensorboard --logdir=/home/harbp/Documents/coqui/TTS/
Opened localhost:6006, but no training updates appear.
