Your suggestion for English looks sensible to me. |
Attn @con/french Indeed, suggested English wording makes it English. PR? Will need patch version boost |
+1 English -- I'm thinking running DeepL on all translations at some point and ask to review revision |
I will check with our DPO for the French translation proposed and get back to you asap.

+1. Here is a proposal for the French translation ensuing the English rewording : |
I am still puzzled. I understand that secondary or derivative data should "be on the group level", meaning they should be aggregate data and not individual data, which is indeed the case for group statistical maps or templates. The translators understand that secondary or derivative data should "be shared on the group level", meaning shared within a group (which one?). I feel the original English text is unclear:
@CPernet What do the original authors mean by "secondary or derivative data that are on a group level"? In any case I find "to be on a group level" is too vague and should be replaced by a (longer?) sentence that conveys precise ideas. Could some native speaker help once the intent of the original authors is explained? |
My suggestions for the English text:
|
+1 aggregated data rather than group (c'est plus logique peut importe la langue) |
The French translation doesn't make any sense:
and I'm not certain the original English text does make sense either:
I suggest changing:
and cannot be deduced information from individual participants
to:
and information from individual participants cannot be deduced
Thoughts?
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
