There could be a "What is this?" link near the top of a user's commits.to page and on each of their individual commitment pages. When you click it it shows a description of the service. The user could optionally change that description, e.g., to describe to their friends/coworkers in their own words what this website is and why they are using it.

If this existed, then when you started using commits.to URLs with a new person, you could include a brief note that they use "what is this" to learn more, instead of having to explain to them in detail.

I'd suggest allowing the user to customise it with a fairly big chunk of text if desired. I've been using about 250 words with some of my friends.

(I'm labelling this "Wait for React")

I'm not labelling this "Wait for React" - I forgot I'm not an admin in this repo. 😄 I suggest that label though!

@chrisbutler Oh thank you! That's kind of you! I'll try not to let the power go to my head. :)
