This repository has been archived by the owner on Jun 30, 2023. It is now read-only.
It is using Gradle 2 which was superseded on 15-Aug-2016.
IntelliJ no longer supports Gradle 2.
Upgrading to Gradle 8 is a nightmare marathon.
And honestly using Gradle for anything other than toy projects is just asking for maintenance pain. Other than Android most of the Google projects have typically used Maven and for good reason.
Almost all of the dependencies are out of date. Some of them have critical vulnerabilities.
It conflicts with the other appengine libraries that you make available
There is no co-ordination with this tools and any of the other tools and products. Google used to have product managers. Where are they?
Pay your developers to keep the tooling we need to use up to date or we're going to get sick of fighting with it and shift to another cloud vendor.
Or is this a signal that you no longer intend to support AppEngine?
In which case own it so we can shift to another cloud vendor now.
