I'm right at the start of setting up my VM and getting an error when trying to run the command "service metasploit start" I'm getting the following error, Failed to start metasploit.service: Unit metasploit.service not found.

Help?

I don't think you need to start a Metasploit service to run Metasploit. Just type "msfconsole". You might need to start the database, which can be done with "msfdb start". The first time it's run, try "msfdb init".
