N++ contains the compatible plugin list within https://npp-user-manual.org/docs/plugins/#install-using-plugins-admin .
For x64 it is taken from https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/nppPluginList/blob/master/src/pl.x64.json#L485-L494

From the second link I learned that version 0.9.12 compatible NPP version needs to be at least 8.3 and above,
The highest version of NPP compatible with version 0.9.11 is 8.2.1, but the same is for 64-bit NPP, where is the compatibility of other versions from version 0.9.5.11 onwards?

N++ with plugin admin (started 2018) . Most likely all HexEdit plugin versions are compatible with N++ versions except of the bugfixes. There was a breaking change in N++ 8.3 to support files greater than 2 GB.

N++ comes with a builtin list of compatible plugins at the time of the N++ release. The list is not dynamically loaded from the web.

What is your need to know the compatibility of old releases?

I'm using N++ version 7.7 and if I'm using 0.9.12 HexEditor I get the following error box
