I used this script to copy the state of one user to another on Plex v1.40.4.8840 on my Synology NAS, and it corrupted the databases. I had to restore from a DB backup.

Corrupted in what way? Did Plex not launch anymore after the transfer?

It was pretty gnarly - Plex did not recognize any of my media anymore; all the libraries were unopenable on the main user. It was exactly like this issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/1b0hs4e/no_content_available_but_for_main_user_only/

Worse than that, it kept breaking after I restored a copy and I'm not sure why. I had to do the restore multiple times.
