Platform: Kubuntu 13.10 (amd64)
System: Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition (Intel HD 4000)
Method of installation: ppa:zedtux/naturalscrolling

Having the naturalscrolling indicator in KDE's system tray increases the plasma-desktop CPU usage by anywhere between 2-8%. Removing the system tray OR turning off the naturalscrolling indicator reduces the plasma-desktop usage back to normal (which should be 0% when idle). Hiding (autohide) the panel does not appear to have any effect.
