Unexpected workspace switch on multi-monitor setup

Reproduce issue by:

1. On a dual monitor setup, open some workspace on monitor 1
2. open application on monitor 1
3. switch to different workspace on monitor 1
4. switch to workspace on monitor 2
5. open application on monitor 2
6. move cursor back to monitor 1

i3 will switch from the empty workspace on monitor 1 back to the one with the application you opened in step 1 instead of staying on the empty workspace.

Distro: Arch Linux (kernel 5.10.15-arch1-1)

can you try reproducing the issue without this daemon disabled and if the issue disappears, try to rename the first workspace with i3-msg and see what happens (I don't have a multi-monitor setup, sorry)

I disabled the daemon and did as you said, and I am now unable to replicate the issue
