When beacon tries to write loss curves on Windows, it segfaults. Reason is due to an update used by matplotlib. See more here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/69786885/after-conda-update-python-kernel-crashes-when-matplotlib-is-used
Fix for Anaconda is:
conda install freetype=2.10.4
