KokoVP should have an feature to remember window size. Option must be configurable.

On wayland, is this even supported by xdg-shell protocols or does it only work with some compositor-specific protocols?

It may don't work on Wayland.
But Linux+Wayland isn't the only one planned target platform. I'll add Qt methods calls, if/when Qt supports it, it will works.
