update overview - students do not "Students investigate exponential relationships in data about Covid spread." in this lesson.
update lesson objectives - the second certainly doesn't belong
add student-facing goals
Building Exponential Models
add student-facing goals
Fourth lesson goal doesn't make any sense.
Do we want to talk about periodic functions in a lesson goal for a lesson that precedes periodic functions?
classifying-plots needs solutions for y-int / asymptotes
This lesson currently describes b as both 1 + r and 1 - r
I don't love that the overview of the last section uses variables, as if everyone will know what they are
They explore the behavior of b as the expression 1 - r, learning how to think about exponential growth and decay.
I've put some effort into reformatting the long launch section of the last section of this lesson and it really feels like we're doing too much telling. Not sure whether these two examples should become a workbook page or make better use of Q&A?
