meta-qt6 not available in kb_recipes.json

QT6 is available in the BlackDuck knowledge base, and the Qt company has a meta-layer for it (meta-qt6). We cannot let import_yocto_bm map it in the Blackduck project as it does not keep a kb recipe for it.

Hi Paul. Thanks for reaching out. Meta-qt6 is not a recipe provided by Openembedded, and consequently cannot be imported as a Yocto dependency using either Detect or the import_yocto_bm utility. I would recommend that you investigate the new beta script I have been developing to improve the Yocto scan process adding Signature scanning. You can find this at https://github.com/matthewb66/bd_scan_yocto The readme provides full explanation of the operation of the script. Hi Matthew,
Thank you for the feedback. I think meta-qt6 not being supported as it is not openembedded is strange, as meta-qt5 is supported by the tool. I've asked our Synopsis FAE for support on it but I am not sure whether this tool is even supported.

The beta script you mention might be worth looking into. Thanks for the pointer. We will find out whether your tool is matching our expectations and whether it fits our environment.
