Need help on integrating with Jira

I am evaluating this for our Jira (server) instance with Blackduck cloud. I have some queries which I could not find on the wiki page of this plugin.

1: Can I configure which notification to ignore which to sent to Jira?
2: Can I ignore some specific may be critical /blocker notification and sent the others to Jira?
3: Do I need another plugin or default Jira mail handler to create issues in Jira or the alert app in Jira can be configured to do that?

As per my understanding, it fetches notification from Blackduck and sends to other systems. Please correct me if I am wrong.
