DAVx5 uses the Android API to determine whether data saver is active, to show the warning in the UI. However, DAVx5 does not use the data saver to determine whether it shall sync or not. It just registers sync jobs in the system that shall be executed regularly (with the given sync interval). The system is however free to delay execution of these jobs under certain conditions. So this is most probably not a DAVx5 problem, but some restriction of your Motorola device. Many vendors have been creative in how to restrict jobs of apps for "battery saving" reasons (true, it takes less battery when DAVx5 is not allowed to sync). Maybe "background activity restrictions" are active? https://dontkillmyapp.com/motorola |
