are there any plans to add widgets for task/ notes/journal lists?

Hey Kai, Widgets are on the Roadmap, but for now there are still other tasks on the priority list 😉

Great! I thought it would be a workaround to use tasks for widgets but DAVx5 doesn't allow multiple task apps I guess?

You can only sync using one task app at a time with DAVx5. It needs to have one defined backend to sync with.

I also think a widget is essential. I like to check my calendar and tasks at a glance. OpenTasks has a widget, but it does not synchronize reminders like Jtx does. Overall, I like Jtx better, but the lack of a widget really is a problem. I thought I would just use both, but as seclution notes, DAVx only allows one tasks app.

Widget should be in the top priority for my point of view. It is a very usefull feature.
Is exist a list of the next feature development sorting by priority?
A good thing should be to let to the users the possibility to vote for the 3 or 4 features that they would like to be developed🤔.

You can already sort tasks by priority! Do you maybe have an older version? You should use at least v1.2.3

Regarding widget: I will have a look at it soon, but personally I never use Widgets, I really don't like them at all. That's why I'm postponing it all the time. But I get that others have a different approach on using Android 😉 for now I'm still busy refactoring the detail screen to jetpack compose.

Regarding votings: you can vote for issues/feature requests in the jtx Board repository:
