Is it possible to change the base url of an account after creation?

I needed to move my nextcloud instance and I want to change the URL without re-synchronizing everything. Is this possible? Perhaps by editing some config file?

No, it's at the moment not possible because it's a complex operation and there any things that could break and could cause data loss.

However, using a redirect (30x) on the server should work.

If this is not possible, I recommend to remove the account with the non-existent URL on your device and add it again with the new URL.

Currently this is not possible for various complex reasons with the Androidbase system. We have that on our todo list, but since there is a lot that can go wrong with user data, we didn't do something yet.

It's not as simple as changing a configuration file, unfortunately... You need to either export data and then import it back into a new account or - if data is still present at a server - then you need to recreate the account in DAVx5.

I see. I will try the remove/readd workaround, but I fear this will mess with my data even more.
