The Classic QIIME Colors map has a few colors (yellows) that are hard to see on a white background. While this isn't really a problem for Emperor's defaults, it is for Empress'. It might be nice to add a variation of this color map where these yellows (and other very light colors?) are replaced with easier-to-see colors.

edit: there's also a gray color in this color map that looks really similar to the default node color in Empress, which would also be good to replace/remove

Will be a factor to consider w/r/t #143.

@ElDeveloper's position is that the cost/benefit ratio on this is too large to try to do "dynamically" (i.e. by looking at the current default node / background color and identifying "similar" colors), but I guess adding a slightly fancier default colorscheme wouldn't be too much work
