The restore process can take a long time.

Example, while restoring devex-von-bc-tob-test:

  • 22GB Wallet database
  • Backs up in 11.5 minutes and compresses to 4.9GB
  • Takes almost 2 hours to restore.

Based on the results on verification testing (see the performance metrics in the README.md) the storage class has a lot to do with restoration speed. That said there are ways to configure the server temporarily to also speed up the restoration process.
