Time doesn't adjust when timezone changes automatically

Describe the bug
On a recent flight I noticed that although my phone's timezone was adjusting automatically, the time shown in this app was based on my timezone when I first opened it (before takeoff). I thought maybe this was related to airplane mode, but it persisted even after we landed and I connected to the cellular network. It only adjusted to the new timezone after I closed and reopened the app.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the app.
2. Cross into a different timezone.

Expected behavior
The time shown in the app should match the system time.

Observed behavior
The time shown in the app doesn't change timezones.
