Describe the bug
After extracting uAssets and uMaps for Aliens: Dark Descent with ZenTools-UE4, opening them in Stove just shows nothing but wireframe cubes:

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Run ZenTools-UE4 extracting Game/Maps/Mission/ directories.
  2. Open any uMap file.
  3. Stove will show nothing but wireframe cubes associated with assets in the map.

Operating system
Windows 11 24H2

Additional context
Just updated my rips with the latest ZenTools-UE4, which just dropped yesterday. The issue persists, so it's something related to how stove processes the maps, AFAICT.

the mesh data isn't stored in maps so you need to extract that and select that folder to be used in stove with alt + o
i should probably add a faq for next release :p

Please put a copy of the FAQ in the repo readme, so that it's easy to do that ahead of starting to use Stove.

I appreciate it being integrated into the program itself, but that's a bit annoying for folks who like having the assets ahead of working with the maps.

I would keep it open until the FAQ is fully done and posted in the readme, just in case this game's weirdness is something it can't handle.
