Telescope can be off target because:

still on-route to target
temporary loss of target while tracking (bad gears)
target moved out of safe space
no target specified (off-target states need to be distinct from just not having a target set)

Alarm:

Audio and GUI alert when target loss happens while tracking.
Integrate errors during an exposure

Complexity:

integration with MaxIm DL
- to know when exposure starts / stops
CLI module to log position offsets
API to expose recent logged errors
how to sync between start of exposure and log entries? Timestamps or start-stop log via API?
