This is a reference to the old popular closed issue #6824

To clarify, that issue asked for dropdowns and checkboxes in general, which already existed, but weren't well documented. That issue was closed by a documentation PR as such.

It did also ask for multi-selects (a type of dropdown), which seem to not currently be supported and so actually need a new feature in the UI (i.e. not just docs).

I count at least 7 upvotes for multi-selects specifically in later comments, though some of the original upvotes may have also been for multi-selects.
