Can you give a list and location for the files to be installed for RPS on 2019. I have run the install and the only files that I can find are the ones under C:/Program Files (x86)/RevitPythonShell/

hi @concreteman, it runs fine here on our 2019 machines.
So I assume it is less a 2019 thing but it sounds to me more an issue of installing it via an admin account, but RPS is not available in a Revit session on a user/non-installing account. (?)

If that is the case: (we had the same issue over here, so I've written our own deployment script for RPS)
There are basically three components of RPS (I added the associated paths from my machine):

  • installed program: C:\Program Files (x86)\RevitPythonShell2019
  • startup scripts: C:\Users{{username}}\AppData\Roaming\RevitPythonShell2019
  • the addin that starts RPS inside Revit: C:\Users{{username}}\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2019\RevitPythonShell2019.addin

For a quick test you could copy the last two directories from the installing user to the regular user.
If you have any paths set up inside the xml, you would need to change them accordingly.
There is also some info on the pats #84 Hope that helps..
