Could someone explain what I should do when using swiftui for oauth2 didn't understand the .registerOAuthHandler()

I managed to successfully use oauth2 with apple however I don't know what to do with identity token? Do we save the tokens but they expire after a short period? Do we have to do anything besides creating oauth2Session? (on iOS)
